Thornlea Secondary school
In Toronto, Canada, I attended a school called Thornlea Secondary School. It was my first high school and my first school in English speaking country. Although in the beginning I was a bit nervous, I made many different friends and really enjoyed academics provided by Thornlea. One of the biggest reasons I did not want to move to Seattle was that I did not want to leave the friends whom I made. I thought I would not make any more friends in Seattle, because I did not like the fact that I had to start everything over. This school had diverse groups of people. There were Canadians, Persians, Indians, Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese people in the school, and this made me realize that there are may different people in the world.
